MicroWiki article - King Joseph I - 23 Jun 2014

I typed an article about my micronation for MicroWiki, but when I put it in MicroWiki it came out wrong. How do I format it?

OK, you can't just copy and paste the actual text from a wiki article and modify that. When using wikis, you have to write the articles in a special code. For example:

==Government==

would create a sub-heading with the title Government.

Here: http://mw.micronation.org/wiki/MicroWiki:MicroProject_Copy_Edit/Nation_page_guide is a useful page that provides a template for a basic micronation article. By clicking "view source", you can see the code that created this template. Copy and paste it into your own article, change the relevant information, and save. You should then have a functional article.

Wiki markup code can be a bit confusing at first, but you'll soon get the hang of it. You can find special features such as infoboxes, tables and images by looking at the code on other people's articles (click edit, but don't change or save anything in their article) to see the code that they used and adapting it for your own.

Hope that helps :)
