My New Philosophy
#1
A couple of weeks ago, the Pannonian War began. It was a rather shock to the government on what happened at the "Battle of Juna", therefor in fear and anger as any war starts, KUR declared war on the supporters in outrage.

After high criticism by you fellow micronationalists I was shocked to see the results. (Which now I'm grateful for your criticism.) Including with taking a day or two to calm myself. Realizing what the developments and the cost could mean, I ordered all Kid United Republic Military officers to find the leader of the supporters and ask him for peace.

Luckily, KUR's war ended soon after that with Vice-President Emma Carpenter signing a treaty with Robert Peterson. These events have lead me to find a new philosophy that you guys have helped me to understand. This philosophy will help me in the future but it does not change the fact what I've said in the past. I think it doesn't mean I'm a bad person, nor am I good. No one is perfect but I can certainly try to be better than yesterday.

The new philosophy is something I find worthy of sharing. And I hope personally that the comments you will post good or bad is important especially to my benefit in the years to come. The following is a record from my journal and all spelling and some grammar errors have been corrected.

"Dear Journal, 18/6/15

Looking back on the war that has happened and the hard packed criticism, that Richard or others have said at first made me mad. I cried, and I yelled because of their comments. But then as a leader of a nation and as a leader for the Department of Defense, I recalled an experience from Scout Camp that reminds me of something important.

*Love- For your country, your community, your enemies, your family and friends. A leader could not be one if he or she doesn't love them even the people who have wronged you.

*Courage- Its something that every leader needs in the times of hardships and decisions. Even though pressure will hit you, people will fall, you must always have courage to due what's right.

*Integrity- Something that may be called different in your mind. Whatever that may be always loyal and follow the Scout Law. Integrity will never be bought or given its something that you must decide how worthy are you to be trusted.

These three simple things will always be true. Follow them and you can be a great leader and even if you are not still hold this it is something that everyone will need in the coming days.

This experience the Director of the Camp said, is something I must follow to succeed my goals and be more efficient. My new motto is:

*Trustworthy
*Loyal
*Helpful
*Friendly
*Courteous
*Kind
*Obedient
*Cheerful
*Thrifty
*Clean
*Reverent

I know these are the Scout Law but this is something I need to especially apply in this forum I go to.

Well good night Journal and may we both learn something that I've been given.

Sincerely,
Jackson P. Cole

If this is Scout Law, then more micronationalists need to be boy scouts.

An excellent philosophy. If there was a micronationalists' guild, this should be their motto.

I also happen to be involved in the Boy Scouts. The scouting organization has always been a wonderful thing, and I salute today all fellow scouts, both old and new, and the movement's founder, Robert Baden-Powell, the first and only Chief Scout of the World!

Never was a Boy Scout, but I was a Leading Cadet in the Air Training Corps, and I have great respect for the scouts that carried their banners at memorial services. Saluting you sir, and the rest of you.
