Ha, I was thinking of trying to do this micronationally.

What kind of pasta? Pasta is a bit of a broad category.

"I like juice," and someone could easily ask "What kind? Grape? Apple? Orange?"

Pasta isn't as vague as juice. It basically all tastes the same and the few differences in flavour that do exist are still similar enough to be a matter of personal preference/whichever's cheapest. The main difference really is shape.

I disagree. Kraft dinner is not the same as lasagna, there is a distinct difference in more than simply price or shape.

I mean, lasagne isn't pasta, it's a meal containing lasagne sheets, which are pasta. I don't kno what Kraft dinner is but based on the fact that it's called dinner, I'd assume that's also a meal (containing pasta). Even if it made sense to use pasta as a term referring to a meal containing pasta, you can infer from the context that that's simply not the case based on the fact that clearly a) someone thinks that the term is specific enough to apply as a national meal and b) completed meals don't normally require ketchup to both mandatory and not in the name of the meal.
