Donald Trump

As a Communitarian citizen I don't vote for American politicians, it is against the law anyways. With that being said, every last one of them running for office don't deserve the time of day from me.

Here's another one:

"When I was first starting out, I got a small loan of a million dollars from my father..."

That quote is the source of many jokes at my school.

Estimates put Donald Drumpf inheriting $120 million in 1974, which after inflation means he may have started out with as much as $612,530,120.48 by today's standards. He's been married three times, he's listed in one hundred and sixty nine federal lawsuits. Then there's Trump Airlines, Trump Vodka, Trump Casinos, Trump: The Game (basically his version of Monopoly, naturally), Trump Magazine, Trump Steaks, GoTrump.com (a luxury travel search engine), Trump University, Trump Mortgage, and Trump Water, all of which failed. One of his relatively few successes was Trump Tower in Vancouver (BC), which was built by crews heavily populated by Mexican-Canadian workers. See the irony yet?

Then there were these pathetic stories.

Trump, you're fired.

He drew a crowd of 10,000 people when he came to Springfield like 4 months ago I think. I heard it was the largest attended public event in the city's history.

This is what America has become, a big reality show! I'm sorry but I do NOT want to live in some reality show type nation filled with a bunch of stupid sheep that idolize stupidity. This is why I founded the CNSR and a resistance group. Enough is enough.

So far, no one can stop "The Donald" juggernaut which to me is impressive. Sanders, Clinton, and the rest of the Republican candidates are bluntly stupid candidates to elect to the White House and won't trust them with a cent.

Who knows? I don't study the media to learn about politicians or political opportunists [e.g Donald Trump], I read them through their books. Whether or not, I'm sure that Donald Trump if he is elected I'm sure that he will be on a tight leash by Congress. The only other good candidates are most likely third-parties.

In the presidential election, I like Donald Trump, because I agree with many things he says. I do believe building a wall is necessary for national security - Trump believes that immigration should be allowed, but it must be done legally. It is also good that American interests are protected first in our trade deals and diplomatic relations. Thus I agree with his views about NAFTA and the Trans-Pacific Partnership. Although trade deals are a good thing, they should benefit us the most - we should not stoop to the level of dictatorships like China or Vietnam. When it comes to the national debt, it seems that a businessman would have the most qualifications for eliminating the deficit and bringing in a surplus. Trump has said that he intends to pay back the national debt. How he will do this, I do not know, but it is certainly an encouraging thought.

As much as I like (and have liked) Donald Trump, I have been a staunch supporter of Ted Cruz ever since I first heard about him during his filibuster against ObamaCare in late-2013. Cruz truly gained my support by leading the fight against ObamaCare and other abuses of the Obama administration, such as the unconstitutional executive amnesty and the catastrophic Iran nuclear deal. Cruz and I would agree on every single social issue, and he too intends to, in the same manner as Trump, build a wall, deport the illegals (and make them come in legally) and truly make America great again. I believe Cruz's demeanor is more professional, and more suited to the presidency. In an ideal situation, I believe Cruz would make a fine president, and Trump a fine vice-president. Of course, I know the silly "feud" between Trump and Cruz (which Trump started, I would add) will prevent this.

I must with some hesitation admit my distaste for a few of Donald Trump's positions, as well as some aspects of his personal life. Trump has been "wishy-washy" on important issues such as defunding and prosecuting Planned Parenthood. In the past, Trump supported partial birth abortion. He has also donated to liberal politicians (including Hillary Clinton). In his personal life, the reason why he has had three wives is because each successive marriage ended in him leaving his former wife in adultery.

Cruz, on the other hand, has committed no such moral crimes, and his positions have been stable and consistent for as long as I have known about him. It is for this reason that, while I like Donald Trump, and would be happy to vote for him should be become the presidential nominee, I will support Ted Cruz instead.
