And that isn't how the legal system works.

Great legal system ya got there.  You knew of the conflict of interest, you took the case over regardless, and now you've been caught.  There is no saving face.  You burned that bridge already.
"Been caught"?
I wasn't hiding anything. Answer me: will your client have a defence in this case?

This case? You're the defendant now.

R v. Langford is over and done with. What you unilaterally decide to do at this point is between you and the fly on the wall.

I need a confirmation from Langford.

You need a lecture on ethics from Langford.

With that out of the way, this trial has been renamed R ex parte Langford.

I'm done with dealing with the likes of Callahan, as he obviously hasn't understood a word I've said to him. Langford and his counsel are excluded from this trial, they have withdrawn their defence and trial will proceed without them.

Members of the press who wish to have live access to proceedings on Friday, please PM me and I will add you to the chatroom.

I have a statement concerning the trial(s):

Members of the Micronational Community, recently you have seen and heard of what is going on with the so-called, "R v. Langford" trial and now at present an unfair "R v. ex prate Langford" trial. I believe the majority of all of us are sick and tired of hearing this and so have I. These Loquntian kangaroo court proceedings have dishonored themselves and the justice system and that we cannot accept. John has tried to humiliate me and deceit the entire community over and over again. It has become clear that Loquntia's courts has become a mockery of the justice system and just a show court for him. There is no real justice from this trial and I do ask members of the community to support with our defense against this injustice for hopefully this last, one time. We cannot do it without you.

I will echo Mr. Callahan's repeated statements that this trial is in fact a sham and it is clear from screenshots and transcripts of the recent proceedings that it is so, even from the start. We need a fair and honest trial and I will say that again and again. This community has already had enough with the absurdness coming from this trial and past ones and we need to end it for the sake of our insanity. (And I mean literally.)

I give my support to Mr. Langford and recommend that Loquita stop this trial.

Indeed it is Loquntias role in this, but I think they should take into consideration how this affects many other national leaders and nations, and respectively allow mediators and neutral judges to ensure a fair trial.

But how would that serve King John's interests or boost his ego? He wants his idea of justice, and the power trip that entails for him, not a real trial with any semblence of fairness. If I were Langford, I would ignore these "proceedings" altogether. "His Lordship" has no real power over him, after all, and I think it's clear after this debacle that the decisions of the Loquntian justice system carry no weight in the wider community.

One of our Loquntian citizens, and a member of our military, Dallin Langford, appears to have committed a couple of crimes. Therefore, a case was made within one of our courts, as a formality. This court wasn't doing anything, and when asked, he said he wanted to postponed the proceedings--but the case is merely a formality. Neither I nor Langford are 100% interested in this whole case thing.

This court case is simply a formality because I see it as a compromise to my credibility to just banish Langford from Loquntia without holding some sort of formal trial.

This wasn't supposed to be any more or any less, people just like to make #drama and get #triggered and get #exposed and be on #leafy.
